Happy two-month anniversary! Sorry, this scheduled news post comes a few days late. When Julie and I saw that mingle post was at 900 comments, we rallied to bump the numbers up to 1000 before moving on! Hooray! #1000stars #1000comments
Budehuc Ball
Well, that was quite a dramatic night! Full of twists, disaster, comedy and the awesome introduction of Mukumuku!
But as I just said, we actually GOT THAT MANY FREAKING COMMENTS, WOW. I'm still buzzing about it! When the concept for a ballroom event first came up, there were only four people in this community and the most comments a post would get was around 70-80. At that time, my personal goal was to get it up to 200+ comments and I still would have been happy with those numbers, but never did we expect 600+ comments, let alone 1000! I honestly can't thank everyone enough for participating and making it fun, and I want to give special thanks to Delci and Junabi for finding that dress-up website and helping set the scene respectively.
We already got some idea for the next mingle event in the near future, though I don't think we'll ever top this one in terms of size. Good luck to anyone who wants to try and read that whole megapost, lol!
Accommodation System
On to the meat and potatoes of this news post! Julie and I were often wondering just how big Budehuc really is and if it really can house all our characters, let alone an army. Along those thoughts, Julie initially made a page about the inn rooms and who's staying in which room. The idea would be that eventually we are going to run out of rooms and some characters would be forced to room with each other, creating new dynamics and such. Based on that concept, we expanded rooming even more to include the manor and ship, but they would only be for characters who have resigned to their fates and decided to live in Budehuc, since the inn only serves as temporary residence.
((Side note to Cap: I noticed we accidentally put Geddoe in the manor! Let us know if you still prefer to have him on the boat and we'll fix that. ))

...obviously we took some liberties and added extra rooms in all the buildings since the game ridiculously lacks them. The inn especially is big enough for one family. One.
New People
I know they've already introduced themselves, but I'd like to welcome Vik and Ritzy once again! Our little community is growing and it won't stop here. :) Look forward to the next news piece in two weeks!
